E-mailing an Image

To e-mail an image, select the E-mail Tool from the toolbar, or choose E-mail Photos in the Printing Wizard.  The image, or images, will be sent as attachments to your e-mail message.

You’ll be prompted to select either an image or an album to send by e-mail. Select the corresponding button, and then pick your image or album from the drop-down list.  If you are publishing an album, you can click on individual images in the preview pane to select or deselect them.

After you’ve selected the image or group of images you want to send, you must choose a layout in the Select Layout dialog.

You can choose to arrange the images in a page-layout (as you would for printing) or just send the actual images as attachments.  If you just want to attach the images, click the radio button next to Actual Image instead of choosing a layout.

Select a layout, or opt to e-mail the actual images

Layouts allow you to place multiple images into one page (for example, you can e-mail a sheet of thumbnails to someone).  You can also choose from a collection of Design Layouts with special occasion themes.

If you choose to e-mail your photos in a layout, you can specify the size of the layout image in the next screen. You can choose from 640 x 480, 800 x 600, and 1024 x 768 (all measurements are in pixels).

Select the size of the layout image you want to e-mail

When you click the E-mail button, FotoFinish will create a new e-mail in your default e-mail client with the images attached.  Then you can type the address of your mail recipient and any comments you want to accompany your images.
